There is a difference between access and authority. In recent years, it seems that they have been confused and one could have been easily mistaken for the other. The question in everyone's lips today "Where we duped? Has it always been this way?"

No clear answer exists, but clear intent does. Instead of wondering if we have been duped, the real question is how did we get here? How did an esteemed industry highly regarded such as the fashion industry got to a stage where we are all wondering if it could survive scrutiny, if it is still highly regarded or living up to the standards it set up earlier in time? It seems not. It seems easy to pay for access whenever possible and somehow, it guarantees authority. Can the fashion industry ever get back to its esteem place?

Observed Violation:

Talercio Law VII Rule 7.1 - "Style must argue your essence louder than words."

It now appears that those who can afford access no longer require style; access itself has begun to argue essence louder than design.

Aesthetic Emergency

Dispatch: "422, please state your aesthetic emergency!"

On the Line: "In recent chatters, an issue has been raised over and over. It seems no one is taking it seriously."

Dispatch: "Could you please explain?"

Gelato L.: "My name is Gelato L. Recently, during the current Fashion Week season, many people have raised the issue that the aesthetics industry, must specifically the fashion industry no longer seems to understand its own standards. We have lost the plot, an esteemed industry that was once admired for its strength and resilience; even rejected sometimes as artistic and unserious reached a point where authority does not exist; access is granted based on status and finances which implies without merits."

Dispatch: "I understand your concern, we all feel the same way. We're glad a citizen concern has been brought to our attention so our congress treats this with urge."

Gelato L.: "It's unfortunate! An industry I USED to respect has lost its essence, its voice and some might say its stamina. No need to mention how BETRAYED I feel right now and I can't help but wonder if it was worth it. Was it worth it to lose authority over access, was it worth it to stand behind luxury when fast-fashion can get easy access to those authorities who are supposed to preserve truth and craftsmanship at all cost. I have absolutely no words besides pathetic. Please investigate this situation."

Dispactch: "Absolutely, we are transferring the file to our investigation bureau in urgency. Please keep an eye out as we'll ensure this is addressed and respect is shown as soon as possible. Thank you so much for your call."

Hanging up the call, everyone realizes what just happened. The room is quiet. Gelato L. is not wrong, the industry has no leg to stand on currently. It needs to be addressed.
